Job description
As our next Business Service Analyst you’ll assess, define, test and support delivery of enhancements/fixes to YBS processes and systems through a variety of IT demands such as live incidents, technology upgrades and change demand across our Savings & Payments Domain.
What You'll Do
- Provide SME knowledge to assess and translate business needs into IT demand.
- Investigate and support the resolution of incidents, working alongside Service Leads as a primary point of contact for the business and operational users.
- Organise, lead and document business requirements workshops, ensuring appropriate attendance and confidently facilitating full engagement with stakeholders to deliver mutually agreed detailed, high quality business requirements.
- Work alongside Engineers to translate requirements and support throughout development to ensure the end products are fit for purpose and meet agreed quality criteria, acting as an intermediary between IT and the business.
- In conjunction with our Test Team ensure that new and amended systems, together with any interfaces, are tested with appropriate coverage to validate the quality of the delivery and that it satisfies the requirements as specified by the business.
How You’ll Do It
- Experience and knowledge of the systems and processes used within the YBS’s Savings, Branch or Finance functions.
- Good facilitation and presentation skills with excellent stakeholder management skills to work with a variety of business and IT colleagues at all levels.
- Either experience of business/requirements analysis or in-depth operational experience
- Good understanding and experience of change and delivery cycles with knowledge of processes and controls to support end to end delivery, ideally with experience operating in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
