Are you an innovative IT Business Partner looking for a new challenge in an ambitious global organisation? Providing interim cover for an internal secondment, Digital & Technology Services (DTS) are seeking to invest in a passionate and delivery-focused IT Business Partner who will look to build relationships across the university to help drive digital value and ensure the delivery of “fit for purpose” solutions that will meet the changing requirements of our global organisation. This role will be key to working with the university community to translate strategy into digital investments, shaping projects and services, acting as a critical friend to key stakeholders and ensuring Digital & Technology Services is aware of the digital demand that is expected from the University. Our Team As part of the Partnering & Innovation team, you will be key in enabling a truly global digital campus, facilitating DTS services and ensuring customer requirements are understood and translated into deliverable activities. You will act as an agent of change, providing guidance and championing digital technology services. For this role, we are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual who is relationship-focussed and who can collaborate easily with a diverse range of customers and senior stakeholders. We are also seeking someone with experience in strategic planning, business development and business case creation - someone who has a good broad understanding of the wider digital landscape and who can support the demand pipeline and business prioritisation. You will be an adept communicator, able to explain complex issues concisely, be empathetic with others and who is flexible, adaptable, able to resolve challenging situations and influence others. The post is offered on a fixed term for 1 year (12 months). Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week) ; however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week).
