Scott & Co has an immediate vacancy for a Business Operations Administrator Apprentice to join our team in Glasgow.
Employees will be expected to successfully complete their apprenticeship framework in Business Administration, subject to eligibility.
Detailed Responsibilities
• Accurate Document Preparation, statutory and internally generated (if applicable) • Accurate Cash Handling and Banking Processing (if applicable)
• Monitor the quality of output, as per specified requirements and deadlines • Maintain and reply to internal and external communications from clients/customers and other business areas.
• Ensuring correspondence is issued correctly • Assess and highlight any trends or business risks identified through quality monitoring and put measures in place to reduce or mitigate the trend/risk.
• Work closely with operational teams and departments to build and develop working relationships. • Be accountable for own actions and take ownership for own personal development.
• Continue to enhance skills and knowledge in order to achieve the best results. • Act in a professional manner and adhere to all company procedures and policies at all times.
• Any other duties as required • Be aware of and adhere to the company Data Protection Policy
- Be aware of and adhere to AML and TCF requirements.
Skills
• Competent in the use of MS office particularly Excel, Word and email • Knowledge of compliance and regulation such as DPA, TCF and GDPR
Awareness of regulation and industry changes • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Interaction with clients/customers and Management Excellent communications – both verbal and written
• Excellent attention to detail • High standards of organisation and preparation
