Business Operations - Business Partner
Within Digital, the COO (Chief Operating Officer) team plays a critical role in driving the Digital transformation: we set and implement the overall BT Digital strategy and plans and we are the engine room driving the outcomes required for our customers. We work across multiple customer units (e.g. Consumer, Openreach, Enterprise, Global, Corporate Units and Openreach divisions) driving game-changing updates to products, customer journeys, platforms, 3rd parties, strategic partners, IT architecture and innovation.
- Acumen for business, operational, financial and commercial analysis to determine impacts and opportunities over short, medium and long-term timelines
- 2+ years of data analysis with strong core data manipulation skills across a number of current and emerging data solutions (e.g. Excel, Qlik)
- Ability to transform complex data and reporting landscapes into the simpler more understood solutions to deliver rich MI insights across performance, financial and commercial lenses
- 2+ years strong stakeholder and business partnering management across all levels of business interfaces
- A problem-solving mindset
- Experience utilising data to challenge today’s models and drive real transformation and business change
- Worked in a transformation / change environment where ambiguity becomes clarity

- Stakeholder Management by establishing and maintaining strong and difficult stakeholder relationships facilitating discussions to develop new and optimised solutions to meet current and emerging needs
- Business, operations and performance data landscaping and analysis experience typically simplifying disparate data and reporting sources, working with technical teams to develop self-serve reporting capabilities
- Excellent communicator capable of engaging and influencing leaders across all Digital and external partners
- Data first mindset, defining a sustainable ecosystem to manage, manipulate and provide insight and information to all Digital stakeholders and hierarchies on a self-serve basis.
- Change delivery, able to define and implement long term, strategic changes and programme implementations ensuring permanent and consistent adoption pan-Digital
