The Business Operations Assistant is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of various business processes. To report on the effectiveness of the service and to control the workflow on a day-to-day basis. The Business Operations Assistant is expected to complete reports, deal with difficult conversations and monitor work to ensure all standards are met. To support the Management Team with tasks to provide the highest quality service to Clients.
As the Business Operations Assistant your role will include:
- Escalating urgent messages and support resolution
- Completion of Care Plans
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities.
- Reporting and checking Business Processes
- Collating actions and reporting on the progress of plans
- Dealing with difficult conversations to ensure compliance or resolving problems.
- Supporting the Management team with various tasks
- Leading on projects to support Business Change.
- Completion and reporting of Business Audits.
- Updating information on Company systems, analysing information, and producing reports for the Management Team.
- Must establish positive experiences with all contacts and maintain effective working relationships with all key players Care Professionals, Clients, Client families and any other Home Instead contacts.
Person Specification:
- Warm, friendly, positive, cheerful personality
- Excellent oral communication skills including answering the telephone, in meetings and completing presentations.
- The ability to write complex documents and maintain quality.
- Excellent use of word and the ability to understand and use systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyse data, producing reports using a variety of software.
- Willingness to use and enhance technical knowledge.
- Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to cope with a fast-changing environment.
- Keen to learn new skills.
- Self-driven and committed to completing tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
- Smart, professional appearance
Essentials:
- Must have previous Business Experience demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Must be able to demonstrate a good standard of education and continued professional development.
- Must be willing to undertake a DBS check.
- Excellent IT skills in using of all Microsoft office programs.
