We are looking for an experienced Finance Business Partner to join us on a six-month fixed term contract. The Finance Business Partner will work with all departments within the Society to promote and deliver all management analysis required to support the delivery of the Society’s plans.
Key accountabilities of this role include:
- Supporting with the production of annual corporate plan, quarterly forecasting process and reporting of the same to the Senior Leadership Team
- Supporting the development of MI, insight and analysis for the Society
- Providing business partnering to key stakeholders within the Society
- Improving the control environment around key finance processes
- Supporting commercial pricing decision making and the development of key models
- On-going consideration of departmental risks, controls and procedures
- Ad-hoc projects and tasks as required by the Finance Director
Qualifications and experience required:
- Recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP
- Relevant Financial Services experience, preferably gained within a Building Society or Challenger Bank and an understanding of associated regulatory requirements
- Experience of developing and maintaining financial models
- Enthusiastic and motivated to make a difference, thinking creatively to make improvements and resolve challenges
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and to embrace the principles of Treating Customers Fairly and the Society’s values
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Business partnering skills – able to interact and influence key stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to multitask in an environment with competing deadlines
- Ability to encourage, support and develop staff
Salary: Dependant on skills and experience
Location: Tipton, DY4.
Hours: This is a 6 month fixed term full-time position working 35 hours per week
The Society is able to offer hybrid working, following successful completion of initial training period, you would be able to work 2 to 3 days at home each week.
