Overview
2fawcett are recruiting for an Assistant Finance Business Partner to work for a well established organisation in York.
As the Assistant Finance Business Partner you will be contributing to the inspiring work that this company do throughout the UK. You will be supporting the Finance Business Partner to prepare financial plans, budgets and accounts, as well as supporting the Head of Investment.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Assistant Finance Business Partner
- Understanding the financial needs of the organisation to make informed decisions
- Preparation of monthly statements
- Forecasting
- Monitoring budgets
- Financial planning
- Communicating with non-finance teams and individuals
- Preparation of corporate financial plans
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with designated budget holders
Requirements of the Assistant Finance Business Partner
- Experience in a similar role
- Proven track record of establishing long lasting relationships
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of accounting software
- Working towards ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification
