BUSINESS MANAGER ANIMAL NUTRITION UNITED KINGDOM AND REPUBLIC OF IRELAND
Our team in Leeds currently has an opening for a Business Manager Animal Nutrition United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland
YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you will be part of the Animal Nutrition team in EMEA and will be responsible for managing and
developing the performance products and services to the Animal Nutrition and Petfood sectors. You are
responsible for key supplier and product management, business development and marketing. You are responsible
to deliver the sales targets and projects in conjunction with each of the distribution depots.
The successful individual will report directly to the Director Animal Nutrition EMEA. You will be working with a
team of like-minded colleagues and your primary objectives will be to set and execute product and supplier
strategies in order to achieve gross profit and volume growth, develop new business and to optimize the
performance and financial return of existing business.
The position holder is required to work in UK & Ireland
Essential Responsibilities:
- Full accountability to deliver key business metrics (gross profit, volume, inventory);
- Creation and execution of product group, product and supplier strategies, which include supplier selection,
product management);
- Negotiation of contracts, agree volume bundling and allocation within countries, agree pricing on behalf of
- Provide product-based commercial direction to local Brenntag product management and sales channels;
- Identify and deliver new product and supplier opportunities and utilise customer and market potential to
- Provide product-market information to internal stakeholders & review product performance;
- Provide input for supply chain improvements.
- Develop strategic and operational relationships with key decision makers and influencers within the relevant
- Lead an internal network for local product management and business development who are focussed on the
Minimum Requirements
- Master degree (e g. Animal Science, Veterinary Science) or similar level of education.
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in selling to large and complex, multi-country/regional customers;
- Work experience in international settings is a plus.

Due to the international nature of this role, excellent English Language skills (verbal and written) are essential.
Skills in other languages are a plus.
Within this role there will be approximately 30% - 40% of domestic and international travel.
