We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Business Management Senior Associate, Operations.
In this role, you will:
- You will be working between OD&S CoS, OD&S Leadership Team (LT) and Global Head of OD&S - liaise with senior management across OD&S and broader Operations as required to deliver OD&S objectives; building relationships at a senior level and influencing for positive outcomes
- Proactively identify and anticipate issues for CoS that might impact delivery of OD&S Leads objectives
- Support the delivery of financial planning, forecasts as well as help support delivery headcount forecasts, hiring and location strategy.
- Maintaining role profiles, job descriptions, organisation designs, troubleshooting, problem solving for any challenges across OD&S.
- Support design and execution of OD&S people and communication priorities and also assisting with the delivery and execution of strategic projects and change initiatives to achieve OD&S objectives
- Support CoS in management of OD&S and HSBC profile and perception through appropriate internal & external engagements incl. communications and engagement strategy, diversity and inclusion and leadership exchanges
- Working with Operations HR & Comms – creating and reviewing key messages, scripts and announcements as well as supporting calibration during pay and performance review cycle across OD&S Leadership Team and supporting in-role promotions within Global Operations
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
- Strong knowledge of Global Operations and DBS in general
- Ability to articulate and synthesise complex issues concisely and in simple language to support problem analysis
- Strong background in financial/analytical reasoning, including being able to contextualise financial data into business activities and conclusions
- Proven experience of positive, challenging interactions with senior executives
The base location for this role will be 8 Canada Square, London with hybrid working
