We are delighted to share this Business Intelligence Internship as part of our Young Talent Programmes at SQA. We invite you to join us for this work-based learning opportunity which will help you understand your strengths and career ambitions whilst applying your learning in a safe environment.
Data is essential to delivering SQA services. As we continually strive for innovation and improvement, we need to be able to apply technology to use our data to attain greater efficiencies and improve service delivery. One way we achieve this is using Self-Service Business Intelligence (BI), with the aim of being able to improve agility and flexibility in business areas by increasing user independence from centralised IT. The Data Solutions team is responsible for delivering this strategy, ensuring that business users are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilise our self-service tool, Microsoft Power BI.
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Science or Computing student to join our small team. During the internship you will play an important role in developing data solutions and gain valuable real world technical and business experience. Your day-to-day duties will include regular engagement with business teams and delivering demonstrations on the use of Microsoft Power BI. You will work closely with business users and technical specialists to help users realise the full potential of their data.
The experience you will gain in this role will be invaluable in helping you pursue a career in data analytics, business intelligence or software development.
