Business Intelligence Analyst
We're looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join the team with the skills and experience to streamline our reporting and data analysis processes.
Reporting to the COO, the successful Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for analysing, cleansing, and developing data. As well as writing reports for management and working with stakeholders to identify themes and trends and present recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background reporting and dashboard creation, with experience in developing and maintaining complex data models. In addition, excellent communication skills are a must, as this role involves working closely with non-technical stakeholders to understand their reporting requirements and communicate data insights in a way that is easily digestible.
Peripatetic although this is a new role in the business and the expectation is to be at Head Office in Southport and working with key stakeholders

· Creating, developing, and maintaining reports and dashboards
· Extract data from information systems for analysis, manipulation, and presentation
· Use our data to evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
· Lead ongoing reviews of our business processes and develop optimisation strategies.
· Present findings to key stakeholders in regular meetings
· Collaborating with non-technical stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide data insights.
· Ensuring data accuracy and integrity across all reporting platforms
· Troubleshooting and resolving data-related issues as they arise
· Staying up to date on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and reporting
You'll need:
- 2 years + experience in a data driven role.
- Excellent IT Skills such as Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint
· Experience in writing SQL code, extracting and manipulating data to create insightful report outputs.
It's a bonus if you have:
· Experience using Azure Could Computing
· Experienced with ERP
- Prior experience in project management techniques
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in data analysis or a related field
- Advanced technical skills such as using SQL, Python and Power BI.
- High competency in Microsoft applications, including Excel.
- Confident communicator in different formats, such as presenting to key stakeholders
- Have an organised approach to work, to be able to see the strategic picture as well as deal with minor daily issues. Be able to multi-task.
- Have brilliant communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal), to deal with people of all levels in a direct, diplomatic way; be able to identify where things are not working, to be able to communicate this and give instructions on how to make things better; to communicate with senior management and be prepared to argue your case in a constructive manner.
