As Business HR Lead for the UK and Ireland you will provide overall Human Resources and Talent Management leadership and direction for all business units within your assigned region. You will be a strong business partner with the UKI GM and the UKI Leadership Team. The UKI is a mature region which has demonstrated strong success over the last few years and strong expansion of new employees. It is also a recognised as being a leader in creative employee initiatives with the focus on being a people first organisation that attracts and retains the best talent in the market.
Day-to-day you will:
- Operate in assigned Region in the capacity of a senior and seasoned HR professional.
- You will lead and direct a team of 9 HR professionals (5 Business Partners (UK and Ireland), 4 SMEs supporting our Employee Value Proposition execution) ensuring that full scope HR services and support are provided to include, overseeing and coordinating the deliverables to the business units across the UKI region.
- Accountability for the People KPIs on the company scorecard working closely with the UKI Leadership Team to put in place strategies and initiatives to ensure that we create the right employee experience for our people.
- You will lead from the front, demonstrating strategic, operational, and tactical capabilities; leading business focused initiatives while being hands-on in implementing operational human resources support into action on a day-to-day basis.
- You will develop innovative, broad-based employee relations systems and employee engagement programs, policies, and procedures within a complex, sophisticated, high-paced environment in order to ensure a positive, well-motivated, and stable workforce.
- You will help to ensure a strong focus on inclusion and diversity both in terms of building an inclusive culture as well as ensuring that we continue to meet our diversity representation ambitions.
- You will ensure that the people development and capability needs of the organization are provided for and satisfied in partnership with corporate based specialists.
- You will be a confidant to the Area Human Resources Lead and work closely with the European HR Leadership team, functioning as a strong contributor to support the company's growth strategy.
- You will be a business-person with a strong Human Resources background and a focused capability, earned in a highly progressive tech, consulting/professional services organization or high growth firm.
- Facilitate organization and leadership development efforts through working with employees and managers to address root causes of issues. Resolves employee relations issues through a systematic approach.
- Assist senior management in the development of solutions through cultural and process perspective organizational development. Viewed as a strategic business partner, change agent, and member of the line management staff.
- Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Specialized consultants will be utilized when necessary; the individual in this position will be expected to wear many hats and be project oriented rather than time oriented.
- This individual, through the power of his or her own personality and influencing abilities, will develop strong relationships of trust and confidence with all personnel and leadership.
- This professional will gather and analyze data and will manage performance systems to assure that Avanade is motivating and rewarding a top tier work force within a positive, supportive and rewarding environment.
- You will provide guidance and counsel on human resources matters to ensure that the appropriate human resources issues are understood, the appropriate organizational structures, processes and procedures are developed, and solid action plans are implemented to support the mission, operational plans and competitive strategies of Avanade.
- You will be involved in many senior level Human Resources duties including professional, executive, state-of-the-art employee development programs; diversity and sexual harassment awareness; succession planning, professional training and development; and employee problem resolution.
- You will build and nurture relationships with clients within the company by frequent interaction both in person and by other means of contact.
- Lead in HR Administration, Business Partner, Employee Relations, and Performance Management focus areas. Also, provide Strategic Direction in Creating and Implementing HR Programs
