FSC (Five Star Catering) is a London-based, family owned and managed outdoor and venue catering company.
From humble beginnings, we are now proud of what the business has become today. We are honoured to work alongside some of Britain's most well known institutions including static sites such as the Tower of London, Lea Valley White Water Rafting, Olympic Park and major festivals to once in a lifetime events such as the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
We are looking for a proficient and experienced Stock Controller to join our Events Catering Team at our Head Office in Camberwell London.
You will be responsible for managing our inventory, as well as, purchasing merchandise based on our company’s requirements. You will be responsible for tracking down the shipments, administering inventory audits, and also maintaining purchase reports and pricing.
You should have extensive know-how with the latest supply chain procedures and have robust communication skills that will help you interact with internal teams, clients, and vendors. Last but not least, you will be increasing effectiveness and profitability by maintaining optimal stock levels of the best products at all times.

Responsibilities
● Forecast both supply and demand that helps prevent running OOS and overstocking
● Enter purchase details (invoices, vendor details, pricing) into the internal databases
● Place orders that help replenish stock items as and when required
● Track shipments and keep the records up-to-date on a day-to-day basis
● Oversee product storage, particularly of fragile items
● Manage and maintain inventory audits on a regular basis
● Ensure the purchases do not exceed the estimated budget
● Manage the purchasing orders and inventory control
● Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders internal and external to ensure the product’s quality
Requirements
● Proven experience as an Inventory Manager, Stock Controller, or similar role
● Extensive know-how of supply chain procedures
● A thorough understanding of inventory management programs
● Excellent inventory management skills
● Actively take part in inventory audits
● Outstanding organisation skills with an outstanding work ethic
● Excellent negotiation and communication skills
● Good mathematical and analytical skills
● Salary: £29k - £35 (DOE)
● You will be required to work from our head office in Camberwell, London 5 days per week
