Teledyne Lincoln Microwave are looking for a key individual to join our Operations Team based at Firth Road in Lincoln.
This is a varied role in which the successful candidate will work closely within our Operations team to support the delivery of KPI’s for highly technical products for niche Microwave applications.
Position Summary:
As a Business Graduate, you’ll support the Operations team by engaging in multiple areas consisting of Project Management, Supply Chain, Production and Logistics, gathering a wide scope of knowledge from key stakeholders. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about learning to coordinate areas of a business, liaising with wider members of the team to meet objectives and drive the business in a positive direction.
Teledyne are looking for someone who can grow as the role develops and as such, there will be great progression opportunities for the right candidate as the business function expands into new directions.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the day-to-day functions of the business – recording/distributing minutes, organising meetings and contributing to discussions.
- Applying an enquiring mindset to understand the drivers for change and able to get to the root cause of the problems to be addressed.
- Analysing report data for key trends and arising issues to feed back to the Project Team.
- Supporting the collation of Operational reports to agreed timescales.
- Creating and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
Essential:
- Undergraduate Degree qualified in a relevant subject.
- Excellent time management skills and effective prioritisation of work.
- Experience of solving problems through efficient and proactive collaboration with others.
- Team player attitude, with the ability to work autonomously.
- A demonstrable interest in business processes.
- An inquisitive mindset keen to drive continuous improvement
Desirable:
- Familiar with Microsoft Office Package – particularly Excel
