Job description
We are seeking a driven and experienced SaaS Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing new leads, converting them into paying customers, and managing the entire sales cycle. They will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key partners and clients, driving revenue growth, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sourcing new leads and converting them into paying customers through a combination of email and phone outreach
- Converting existing users into paying customers through upselling and retention strategies
- Developing a sales strategy and plan to attract new customers, with a focus on large enterprise clients
- Training and developing junior sales members
- Seeking new and innovative ways to approach potential clients and close deals
- Analysing customer feedback to improve the sales process
- Being active on LinkedIn and other social media platforms for networking
Essential Skills:
- Proven sales experience with a track record of hitting targets
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Experience selling in B2B SaaS
- Experience selling to the UK or US markets
- Strong technical skills and ability to adapt to new software and tools
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively from home
Desired Skills:
- Experience in SaaS background screening, applicant tracking system, or HR Tech
- Knowledge of sales engagement platforms such as Cognism/Zoominfo/Drift/Apollo
- Experience in writing customer proposals and presentations
- A desire to learn and develop new skills
System Knowledge:
- Knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Pipedrive
- Proficient in LinkedIn, G-Suite, and Slack
