FireMate is a pioneer in the fire protection industry and we’re looking for another Business Development Manager to join our growing team.
Your role will be to...
- engage with FireMate’s prospects and customers to win new business
- manage and develop a pipeline of prospects
- present FireMate’s solutions to a broad audience
- collaborate with your FireMate colleagues
- exercise and enhance your skills, knowledge and talents
Your responsibilities will include…
- identifying, targeting, and developing business opportunities in selected markets
- building strong relationships with key stakeholders
- working closely with internal Sales, Marketing and Technical teams to execute sales strategies
- attending sales appointments, both virtual and face-to-face
- representing FireMate at trade shows and industry functions to develop sales opportunities and act as a positive ambassador
- conducting product demos to increase the FireMate client base
- analysing and reporting on KPIs, sales pipeline and product performance
- hitting the road and travelling to engage face-to-face with prospective clients
We’re looking for someone...
- who brings their best every day

- with a successful track record in sales. Fire industry or software sales experience would be great, but not mandatory
- who has proven experience with building rapport and providing exceptional customer service
- who approaches sales the ‘FireMate Way’ (honest, fair, amicable), and always takes responsibility
- with a flair for communicating (written, face-to-face and online)
- with the drive to win – you’re ambitious, results-oriented, resilient, tenacious, positive, and determined
- with a sense of humour and experience in communicating through gifs and memes!

Salary: £45,000.00 per year
