The BDM will forge long standing relationships with academic partners to equip them with resources to grow and enhance their cyber programmes. The BDM will primarily be responsible for facilitating and executing sales, product support, and specialised initiatives within Europe, and will support institutions through the EC-Council Academia Series and Partnership model (www.eccouncil.org/academia).

Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect for new customers whilst maintaining & growing your existing client base.
- Effectively facilitate client scoping meetings to understand client requirements and create opportunities.
- Travelling, or attending virtual academic conferences, and events.
- Assist in preparing and implementing sales strategies.
- Implementing strategic ideas to create awareness and branding.
- Knowledge of online sales and marketing.
- Assist in sales research to support and define sales and marketing strategies.
- Working closely with the product team to plan product launches.
- Uncovering local grants and initiatives in Cybersecurity focused on STEM, Workforce Development and more
- Course and programme development within School, BS, and MS degree programmes for existing and new courses and programmes.
- Create targeted regional or state level initiatives and promotions to drive product awareness.
- Establishing long term partnerships with credit and non-credit divisions in higher education while supporting their courses, programmes, events, and initiatives.
About you
You’ll be a high motivated sales professional with the ability to build strong relationships both internally and externally at all levels. The following experience will be required to thrive in this exciting position:
- Excellent stakeholder management from building initial rapport, to establishing firm and lucrative relationships with key decision makers.
- Proven track record of delivering sales targets (preferably exceeding!).
- Experience with selling digital learning solutions would be advantageous for this position.
- Strong motivation and resilience.
Additional requirements (ideal but not essential):
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or appropriate combination of education and experience.
- Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of sales experience.
- Experience in Training/ Educational/ IT industry.
- Understanding of the structure of higher education and various institutional models.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize time sensitive projects and deadlines.
- High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
- Ability to interact successfully with both internal and external customers at all levels.
- Ability to multitask, prioritiseand be flexible with changing business needs in a team environment.

Salary: Up to £42,000.00 per year
