Your role:
As a B2B Business development manager, you will be contributing to the representation of Decathlon Business to our B2B customers/prospects and accelerate our development into the market selling our products and gift cards into our target markets of companies, schools, and clubs.
You will play an important role in creating, managing, and monetizing the database of UK businesses that want to invest in our products and services for the future.
Job responsibilities:
- Identifying new business opportunities including new markets, new clients, and new partnerships.
- Implementing growth strategies leading to the creation of value for all stakeholders
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs, and developing proposals to address these needs
- Be responsible for account management and key account management
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry, and the positioning.
- Manage local third-party partner and vendor relationships; develop and approve new 3rd party sales channels, partner relationships, and local gift card initiatives.

- Good understanding of the UK sports market B2B segments
- Existing account base ready to target in the sports industry
- Sports enthusiast; regularly practice sport and enjoy it to live the health and well-being values we sell to other companies
- Ambitious and motivated, capable to set and exceed ambitious targets
- Service-oriented: always focused on customers satisfaction
- Organized; able to work on different projects at the same time
- Autonomous and proactive
- Ready to take calculated risks and learn quickly
Requirements:
- Knowledge of the public administration tendering process in the UK
- Knowledge of the Procurement industry in the UK
- Highly confident in sales and B2B customers relationship management
- Able to build an ambitious commercial strategy, and execute it
- Rigorous follow-up of the sales activities (prospects, customers’ orders, loyalty…)
- Excellent written and oral communication with my colleagues, internal and external customers
- Capacity to develop business through excellent relationships with our loyal B2B partners
