Job summary:


As a Business Development Manager, you will work to manage, grow and maximise Fleet sales and profitability for the Audi Group. Demonstrating both professionalism and passion at all times, you will deliver the highest level of customer experience to current and potential customers so as to ensure both satisfaction and retention.

This role will be predominantly based in Sheffield however will support the Audi group across Yorkshire and travel should therefore be expected.

Key Responsibilities will include:


  • Deliver the highest level of customer experience to current and potential customers so as to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Actively setting out to achieve and exceed both personal and departmental sales objectives, proactively identifying, canvassing and securing potential local business. This includes Commercial Vehicles where appropriate.
  • Delivering a thoughtful, personalised sales process which demonstrates a thorough understanding of the customer throughout.
  • Maintaining and developing long term relationships with all current and potential customers from the existing database and prospecting, including conducting regular review meetings with management.
  • Writing and presenting appropriate and professional business proposals when required.
  • Developing the sale of appropriate Finance and Insurance packages to customers, in accordance with FCA best practise to ensure that agreed objectives are achieved.


Qualifications:


  • Proven business-to-business sales experience with a clear understanding of the sales process.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of the Fleet sales market and procedures, along with up to date knowledge of vehicle legislation, consumer legislation and trade practices is desirable.
  • A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
  • Ability to quickly build strong relationships, converse with both colleagues and customers professionally, clearly and effectively.
  • Outstanding presentation skills along with high levels of numeracy and literacy.
  • A determined and goal orientated approach.
  • It is essential that you have a valid driving licence which is free from excessive penalties.
