The UK Fashion Key Account Team is responsible for the continued growth and development of the fashion vertical on TikTok Shop in the UK. The primary focus of the New Business team (that sits within Fashion - Key Accounts) is merchant onboarding, specifically targeting high growth new players, established UK enterprise brands and global names. Our team also works closely with our other international teams, helping to coordinate global launches and ensure the brands' success in multiple markets. As TikTok Shop continues to shake up the traditional e-commerce landscape, this team will also play a big part in shaping the future developments of the shopping platform and the services offered to both brands and customers within.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying and onboarding key fashion account partners into the UK market
- Managing the merchant partnership and experience from initial reach-out through to launch/go-live on the platform
- Working closely with cross functional teams (creator teams, marketing, product etc.) to ensure the new brand partners are setup for success on TikTok Shop
- Identifying common (or uncommon) brand blockers and working cross functionally to develop solutions for these
- Utilising data proficiently to better understand pain points, formulate business requirements, identify opportunities and prioritise solutions
- Supporting daily operations of newly launched brands (in the case of high priority clients)
- Supporting the Fashion Lead in developing strategy and reporting on team success
- 5+ years' experience of relatable business development and account management experience ideally at an online marketplace, e-commerce business or agency
- Strong knowledge of the fashion landscape, consumer demands, digital evolution and mobile transformation
- Strong network with top fashion retailers/D2C brands (ideally e-commerce, social or c-suite connections)
- Practical experience and understanding of social commerce, content marketing and influencers
- Great at building trusted relationships with brand partners
- A fast learner with a good sense of judgment and original thinking
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and adjust quickly to change
- Excellent communication, presentation and analytical skills
