Job Type: Permanent Location: Field role with the requirement to travel across London and the South as well as home working. You’d be managing relationships with the UK’s leading Private Banks and Wealth Managers, a key focus for us our business moving forward. Who are we? The role We’re looking for a high performing, experienced Business Development professional to join our growing business. The successful candidate will play a key role working with the UK’s leading Private Client Wealth Managers to identify and secure profitable opportunities for Standard Life. This will include Standard Life’s long-standing retirement and savings products such as our SIPP and International Bond, which are used by Private Client Wealth Managers to facilitate investment through their in-house propositions. To be successful in this role, you will be proven high achiever who is well versed in delivering an exception level of relationship management and managing key relationships. A key objective of the role is to increase business levels across our proposition through the development of new and existing relationships with a panel of accounts.. What are we looking for? Responsible for building and maintaining relationships with financial advisers, paraplanners and administrators across a panel of accounts, via face to face and hybrid engagement. Working with central product management and research teams to establish panel positions Accountability for achieving targeted business activity. Production of business plans for aligned accounts to define activity required to exceed business targets across all products, identifying and exploiting opportunities for growth. To utilise available MI and other insights to drive actions and activity. Capability to present Standard Life proposition and other value add material to external audiences, for example technical updates and adviser team meetings. We want to hire the whole version of you.
