Junior Business Development Manager - Laboratory Supplies
Area:-
South East, London & East Anglia
Customers:-
University Labs and NHS Labs with typical contacts being Bench Scientists, Laboratory Managers, Store Managers and Procurement teams
Ideal Education
Bachelors Degree in a relevant scientific subject or relevant work experience selling to laboratory markets / NHS
My client is a international manufacturer of Laboratory consumables and Bioscience products. The portfolio of business requires the successful person to spend 50% developing business from existing or new clients and 50% managing existing. This is a hybrid role with typically 3 days in the field and 2 days at home.
- Develop sales with existing customers
- Identify and prospect new customers and business opportunities
- Upsell and Cross sell
- Face to Face and Teams meetings
- Attend trade shows and press the flesh!
- Negotiate and close quotes and contracts
- Build lasting and meaningful relationships
- Produce accurate sales forecasts.
- Update and use the company CRM system.
The perfect candidate will live on the territory and have UK rights to work, (sorry no visa sponsorship available) With a suitable degree or 3 years relevant and successful experience this is a chance to join a dynamic and exciting business
Remuneration / Package
- Basic Salary of £35 to £40k pa
