Here at GXO we’re currently looking for an experienced Operations Projects Development Manager to join our M&S site in Milton Keynes. Using a continuous improvement mindset to driver operational excellence, you will deliver on customer KPI’s and future proofing on site.


This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, the hours of work are Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00. However, we do require a level of flexibility - this is logistics after all!


Pay, benefits and more:


You’ll be paid a salary of up to £55,000 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:


  • Project manage high profile initiatives to completion by utilising the continuous improvement, management information, planning and operational teams, delivering projects in full and on time
  • Chair and attend project meetings which clearly relay the impact, benefits and risk to the site teams and our customer, with a detailed plan
  • Promote a one team, cross functional working culture with direct reports and key stakeholders on site
  • Lead, coach and develop your team whilst identifying areas for development and recognising success


What you need to succeed at GXO:


  • Experience at operations manager level (as a minimum) within a complex, fast-paced warehouse environment
  • An understanding of CI initiatives, planning principles and experience of delivering projects on time
  • Excellent team-building skills, you’ll be an effective influencer and communicator, able to positively engage and empower others
  • Customer orientated and commercially aware – with a sound knowledge of KPI management
