BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

LONDON/HYBRID

£37,000 - £42,000 base

£50,000 - £60,000 (Including OTE)

Our client, an ambitious and innovative company working in the Learning and Development sector, are looking for a hard-working and enigmatic Business Development Manager to join their busy team. This role is integral to the business, as you will pitch, close and onboard new clients, helping to grow and develop the business, and pass them over to the Customer Success team for further nurturing. This would be ideal for someone who has started their role in business development or SDR, and are looking to progress.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Business Development Manager, you will be

· Meeting monthly targets by closing new business opportunities

· Arranging and responding to meetings with new marketing leads

· Confidently deliver product demonstrations of assessments, training packages and the online learning platform

· Engaging new business clients, through astute questioning, excellent service, and tailored sales proposals

· Taking ownership of your sales plan, producing enough outbound activity to book up to 15-self-generated meetings a month

· Utilising Salesforce to communicate forecasting, call notes and email correspondences to the rest of the team

· Liaising with the learning and development team, HR departments, and Director level clients to navigate sale cycles and budgets

REQUIRMENTS

To be considered for the Business Development Role, you must have

· Evidence of holding an individual revenue target in previous roles focussed on new business - not account management

· Previous experience in a SDR or Business Development role

· Confidence in booking meetings and holding conversations with director level clients

· Excellent listening and presentation skills, to be both approachable and engaging

· The ability to thrive independently and as a part of a team

· The commitment to complete your own administration

· The ability to reflect and improve, to help you grow with the business
