Job description

We are looking for an ambitious sales professional who has previous experience within the military sector. This allows for an understanding of the market and ideally will have knowledge of personnel and requirement needs.

You will be joining our fast-paced, highly skilled global commercial team which is at the core of our business. Your role will be to generate interest in BCB products, to find new opportunities for our business and to manage and grow existing customers. You will be based in our Cardiff office and a second European language is preferred.

The role involves the following responsibilities:

  • Expanding the company’s customer base and solidify its presence.
  • Achieving growth and gaining sales by successfully exploring the market and meeting with correct potential clients who need product.
  • Establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel with MODs. Building and promoting healthy, long-lasting customer relations by partnering with them.

  • A second language, preferably European
  • Thrive in a competitive environment
  • Ability to create strong relationships with potential customers
  • Ability to assimilate and promote varied range of survival and defence products with multiple applications
  • Able to prioritise, multi-task and work on your own initiative

The role :

You will be responsible for Defence and blue light contacts. You will seek out and respond to tenders while maintaining and growing existing customer relationships. You will seek out new opportunities, selling our products into new clients and building relationships with them. You will contact a variety of warm leads and your own generated prospects as well as having the opportunity to be the first impression of BCB. Your role will also be to generate and help market our business, and you will work alongside our existing sales team to bring new business into the company.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £27,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
