Business Development Executive

Salary - £30,000 - £32,000 + OTE £12,000

Hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office

London - City Centre Offices

Our client is looking for ambitious and target-driven Business Development Executives to

join the team to work on their market-leading platform.

The successful candidates will join a growing team with proven examples of progression and opportunities to further your sales career. This is a hybrid role requiring both account management and closing new business prospects.

This is an opportunity to sell an extensive portfolio of products to the legal sector. This consists of a highly regarded product portfolio across a variety of digital products ranging from in-depth thought leadership content pieces to online data tools.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the full 360 sales cycle as well as be required to use their relationship management and negotiation skills to upsell and renew existing clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business across a selection of products.
  • Renew and grow existing accounts.
  • Develop in-depth market and sector knowledge of clients and competitors
  • Develop and implement plans to meet and exceed quarterly new business and renewal targets.
  • Outbound prospecting to generate qualified leads.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

  • Minimum of 6-12 months of B2B sales/account management experience.
  • Previous experience selling marketing solutions within the legal or professional services market is desirable, but not essential.
  • A first-class track record of sales performance, excellent rapport-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations.
  • Experience in using a CRM system.
  • An aptitude for working towards deadlines and succeeding in a target-driven environment.
