Job description
We are looking for a UK based Business Development Executive to join our Inside Sales team
You will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager.
Your main responsibility will be to identify and contact new and potential customers, generating new commercial opportunities in order to increase our positioning and achieve the established ARR objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Prospecting the market. Keep up to date with the latest news and trends in the Hospitality, Catering and Retail Sector.
- Maintain and update knowledge of Mapal's products and new features.
- Engage with prospects via high volume cold-calling (60-80 calls/day), networking, email, e-marketing, campaigns, and social outreach.
- Generate new contacts, close meetings and presentations that allow the start of the sales cycle.
Tasks:
- Work with Social Media and other tools to conduct market research to detect new clients and organizations to be included in the sales pipeline and to be contacted by Mapal Group.
- Identify the right interlocutors and decision makers to conclude an agreement for the use of one or more Mapal solutions.
- Close meetings with suitable partners to initiate the sales cycle.
- Take an active part in the phases of the sales process that are under the agent's responsibility.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team in activities that generate awareness and brand positioning.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise team to qualify new relevant opportunities.
- Record all activity associated with each lead in the CRM, to ensure the traceability of the operation, up to the stage of conversion to opportunity.
- Comply with each and every one of the processes within the CRM.
- Attend and maintain weekly meetings with all global teams.
Requirements:
- Around 1 or 2 years of experience making outbound calls in companies that offer SaaS.
- Knowledge of the Hospitality sector and the operations of the Restaurant, Hotel and/or Retail is a plus.
- Fluent English.
- Experience using some type of CRM and Microsoft 365 is an asset.
