Business Development Executive
Location: Central London

Salary: Competitive + commission – DoE
We have partnered with a boutique MSP who are providers of telecoms, IT and cloud-based services based in the heart of London. Our client is currently going through a period of growth and expansion which means this is an exciting time to join the company as there will be optimum opportunities for career progression and development. Furthermore, as this is a brand-new role within the business, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to make their mark, bringing their own unique ideas and techniques to best generate results and ultimately win new business. With a solid history of selling telecoms and/or IT services, the ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in effectively building strong relationships with key stakeholders in order to secure new business/contracts with key prospects. This role is great opportunity for uncapped earning potential, with great career development prospects.
Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Prospecting targeted clients via cold-calling, e-mails and face to face meetings where appropriate
· Generating own leads by calling and booking telephone/face-to-face appointments
· Hitting and exceeding KPI’s set including number of daily outbound calls made, number of e-mails sent, number of meetings booked
· Updating the company CRM system with all relevant information and data
· Being acute to industry/market trends and seeking out leads to follow up accordingly
· Building effective and long-lasting relationships with targeted clients
· Delivering a first-class customer service at all times, displaying professionalism and integrity
· Constantly building up a pipeline of prospects, achieved via consistent and effective sales activity
· Developing e-mail/marketing strategies and campaigns to drive inbound enquiries/leads
· Working with the wider team where necessary to maximise sales opportunities
· Other ad-hoc/administrative duties as required
Skills Profile:
· Proven track record of winning new business/securing new contracts achieved from own sales/business development initiatives
· 2-3 years’ experience in a B2B sales role, selling telecoms/IT services
· Industry knowledge/experience working within telecoms and IT
· Demonstrable client-facing skills
· Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills, with a professional telephone manner
· Great listening skills with good comprehension levels
· Personable and relatable, with a can-do positive attitude, as well as trust-worthy
· Both a resilient and tenacious attitude, focused only on achieving results
· Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints
· Organised with a high level of self-motivation
· Excellent computer/IT skills with proficiency in all Microsoft Packages
· Experience using CRM systems
