Are you an experience portrait photographer with passion and drive? Looking for uncapped earning potential as a newborn photographer?

An exciting opportunity to join the growing team at OUR NEW Tiny Adventure Studio in Cardiff. We create beautiful, award winning photography with uncompromising newborn safety standards giving unparalleled client experience resulting in show stopping, handmade products to cherish forever.

Hours: 30 hours per week (with the scope to full time for the right candidate). Flexible days & times but must include one weekend day a week.

Salary: £20,000 Basic with uncapped commission on sales (OTE of £35K +pa)

Key features of the role / Key Responsibilities

  • You will photograph clients on their incredible journey into parenthood. From the stunning maternity session, newborn session through to their mile stone sessions such as Cake Smash and Splash!
  • We are passionate about newborn safety in our industry and so all photographers are trained in safe handling & paediatric first aid.
  • To give incredible customer service and have the friendly, fun personality to get the best from the sessions
  • All images are sold to the client through In Person Sales so confidence and passion is a must. STRICTLY NO PRESSURE SELLING.
  • You will then order frames & prints from the suppliers ready to be delivered to your clients.
  • You will be given training in all areas, from photoshoots to IPS although previous experience in these areas will be hugely beneficial.

  • You will need to have enthusiasm and love what you do within Maternity and Baby portraiture

Required Skills

  • 2 years experience in a similar role (preferred)
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English is essential
  • Great understanding of Camera Equipment & Studio Lighting.
  • Experience of shooting outdoors (as well as in the studio) would be beneficial.
  • We are happy to look at a variety of experience levels and training will always be provided for the right candidate with the right attitude. Previous experience within a similar role would be extremely beneficial however, it is crucial that candidates meet the cultural fit within the business.
  • You need to be able to work independently with self drive, motivation and ideas of your own as well as working as part of our growing team. Taking ownership & responsibility is a must
  • You will need fantastic admin skills and attention to detail with this. Although this is a photographic role you will need to update CRM systems with client details, order products, communicate professionally and efficiently with clients to maintain company standards. This is crucial to the role.
  • Excellent time management is a must
  • Understanding of Mac and relevant software is beneficial. You will need to upload images to our editing team so an understanding will help.
  • Ensure daily and weekly targets are met while still maintaining quality.
  • To be able to work well to deadlines with a keen eye for detail, positive attitude and be able to communicate to the team.
  • Ensure all images delivered to clients within the stated times.

Please note: Training will take place at our Reading, Berkshire studio for approx. 1 week. Expenses covered.
