A fast growing and ambitious digital health company, who provide software solutions to the NHS, private health and social care sector are looking for an experienced business development /sales specialist to significantly grow our customer base. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping care providers to provide better quality of care by adopting proven digital technology.
Please note candidates must have experience selling SaaS within the NHS, NHS Trusts, ICBS, or Care Sector.
Responsibilities:
- Self-generate leads using a range of proven lead generation strategies and partners
- Follow up and qualify inbound leads
- Effectively build, manage, and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and new clients
- Deliver regular and consistent SaaS revenues in line with targets
- Deliver compelling and exciting demonstrations of our digital solutions/software applications
- Maintain accurate, timely data for all sales activities
- Manage all aspects of the sales cycle from initial leads to closing deals
- Capable of demonstrating the software solutions using a mix of online and onsite demonstrations, as necessary
- Generate new business by means of using existing industry networks, prospecting and customer networks, in conjunction with marketing activities across social media, primarily LinkedIn
- Proactively develop product and sector knowledge
- Structured and methodical approach towards understanding customer's requirements and generate new prospects to convert them into key accounts
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in direct software sales (SaaS) to either the NHS, NHS Trusts, ICBS or Care sector
- Actively engage in social media to add business value and generate leads and connections
- Ability to work autonomously and on own initiatives
- A customer centric sales approach
- Self-motivated attitude with a strong desire to succeed in achieving targets
- Ability to present and hold credibility to manage stakeholders
- Ability to build strong relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues throughout the business
- Ability to multitask
- Experience in working with software systems used in the health or social care sector is desirable
This role is ideal for a person who has the drive to grow within a startup environment. The person must be legally authorized to live and work in the UK and be willing to go through a DBS check. Remote working available but may be required to travel to clients/potential clients.
Job type: Full-time Permanent
Notice Period: 3 month probationary period with 1 week notice; Post probationary period, notice is 1 month.
Working hours per week: - 40 hours per week
Salary - £30,000
Bonus: 15% of salary upon achieving £150k revenue within the first year; Additional revenue generated above £150K will achieve a 10% commission
