Acacia Training are proudly growing their Business Development team and are looking for highly motivated, driven and ambitious Business Development Consultants to join our multi award-winning work family.

Specific responsibilities:
- Develop both new and existing employer base by building relationships and understanding employer needs.
- Generate sales leads to meet employer needs and achieve sales targets
- Complete sales onboarding process in line with the company procedures.
- Meet sales targets set out by the Sales Director
- Follow up on sales leads in a timely fashion.
- Schedule and attend employer meetings and deliver presentations based on training needs to your client base.
- Optimise revenue across all funding streams to meet stakeholder needs ( AEB funded qualifications, Apprenticeships, Commercial short courses etc.)
- Maintain and produce sales activity reports, as required
- Represent the organisation at exhibitions, events, and demonstrations.
- Effectively interact and communicate with colleagues across the wider business
- Any other duties as may be required
Skills Required:
- Minimum two years’ experience in a sales position or similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong Time management skills
- Target driven
- Ability to develop and nurture collaborative working relationships – internally and externally
- Able to work to deadlines and prioritise work to achieve objectives
- Understand the skills agenda locally, regionally, nationally
- Excellent organisation skills
- Full UK Driving licence
