Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a seasoned Business Developer to become part of our dynamic team at Bókun. In this position, you will be instrumental in expanding Bókun's market footprint and fueling business growth through existing customers and partners by forging robust relationships that mutually benefit the clients and Bókun. Furthermore, you will pinpoint new opportunities and cultivate enduring partnerships with key industry players. The ideal candidate possesses an established record of driving revenue growth and fostering successful collaborations within the SaaS or travel and tourism sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement strategic business plans to expand Bókun's market presence and client base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, including tour operators and OTAs.
- Identify new business opportunities by analysing market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value of Bókun's solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure the successful execution of business development initiatives.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets and long-term growth objectives.
- Monitor and report on business development activities, maintaining accurate records and providing regular updates to senior management.
- Represent Bókun at industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed about industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the SaaS or travel and tourism industry.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market opportunities and develop targeted strategies.
- Results-driven mindset and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel as required for client meetings and industry events.
