Job Title: Team Member – Business Development.
Reporting to: Directly to the Business & Finance Manager, with a dotted reporting line to the Marketing & Client Relations Manager
Main purposes of job: Business to Business sales of our services, Develop the business client base, lead client meetings and maintain CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
Located: CFB Risk Management Head Office, Hartlepool.
Overview
CFB Risk Management is the Commercial Trading Arm of Cleveland Fire Brigade. As a CIC any profits made are given back to local good causes, helping the local community.
CFB RM provide services including training, rescue and other Emergency Response activities to high hazard industries on top tier COMAH sites nationwide.
There is an exciting opportunity to join our existing team on a full time basis, working Monday to Friday. The role is office based with some occasional lone working and visiting client sites. The successful applicant will be reporting directly to the Business & Finance Manager, with a dotted reporting line to the Marketing & Client Relations Manager. Daily tasks may vary depending on work requirements (please review Key tasks below).
Due to the nature of the business we are looking for an enthusiastic and self driven individual, who has substantial sales and business development experience, a good knowledge and experience in CRM systems, as well as business administration experience.
Key tasks:
· Generate leads and making appropriate contacts with other companies, meeting with existing or potential clients.
· Assist with daily updating of our CRM system.
· Assist the Business & Finance Manager with business duties, including administration tasks.
· Identifying new Business opportunities and new clients.
· Producing documents to an excellent standard and attending meetings.
· Taking incoming calls.
· Maintaining excellent customer relations, clients information & fulfilling expectations to them.
· Attending network opportunities such as networking events, conferences and industry events.
· Assisting with the sales and marketing strategy.
· Following up with clients and potential customers when required.
· Meet & greet clients who visit the office.
· Other tasks as required to meet business need.
Qualifications :
· Administration qualification (not essential)
· Customer service qualification (not essential)
Person Specification
Essential:
· Previous experience in a Business Development role
· B2B Sales in Services
· Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications
· Previous experience in the use of a Client Relations Manager (CRM) system
· Excellent Communication Skills
Desirable:
· Working with Oil & Gas Companies, Chemical Industries, COMAH Sites – Not essential but extremely helpful.
· Knowledge / Experience in the Renewable Energy sector – not essential but extremely helpful.

Job Type: Permanent Full Time; 40 hours
(Part Time hours can be discussed dependant on applicant suitability).
Hours: 5 days per week – Monday to Friday.
Immediate start, due to business growth.
