A Magic Circle law firm with a fantastic reputation in the market, is looking for a BD and Marketing Adviser to join their Leveraged Finance team! This is a newly created role in which you will be working closely with the Business Development Manager to implement strategic BD plans aligned to the practices business plan. Role and Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to implement BD plans aligned to the practice's business plan.
- Be the lead point of contact for pitch requests, working closely with our Pitch Assistance Centre and / or Strategic Pitch Team to develop accurate first drafts and project manage the end to end pitch process.
- Assist in raising the practice's external profile through product or market specific campaigns, thought leadership, PR, client and industry events and online presence.
- Work with the firmwide credentials systems, Matter Explorer to ensure that deals are logged by the associates and submitted to relevant league tables and manage end-to-end directory and awards submissions process for the group to key publications and the media.
- Support the practice in nurturing priority client relations. Plan and facilitate the execution of BD initiatives relating to client targeting. Provide BD tools to enable lawyers to pursue new business leads and to share market developments with clients.
- Connect with the broader BDM team to assist in driving cross-selling across the firm.
- Help develop and manage the team's internal communications.
- Be the lead point of contact for Leveraged Finance' BD & Marketing requests, including but not limited to: client alerts, credentials, mailing lists, capability statements, marketing collateral and credentials.
About You
- Previous experience in a similar BD role - law firm experience preferable
- Experience producing accurate and quality RFP/pitches (desirable)
- Educated to degree level/Or relevant experience at a similar level
- Exposure to legal services/professional services firms
- Team player with understanding of high performing professional services environment.
