We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of Business Architecture,
- The role holder will be responsible for leading and supporting the alignment of business strategies with technical strategies for RB&S. The role-holder is expected to build an integrated view of the RB&S enterprise using a repeatable approach, a cohesive framework and available industry standard techniques.
- Developing and implementing a business architecture framework that aligns with WPB’s strategic priorities
- Leading a team of business architects in developing and implementing business architecture solutions
- Working closely with other senior leaders in the bank, to ensure that business architecture decisions are made in a way that supports the WPB overall business strateg
- In collaboration with WPB Technology stakeholders, support WPB value streams in definition of capabilities that are fit for purpose and not excessively sophisticated
- A broad understanding of the retail banking and wealth management industry, including products, competitive landscape, regulatory environment and digitalization/innovation trends
- Extensive experience in digital transformation, including design and delivery of digital capabilities
- Experience in agile ways of operating and working in/with value streams
- Ability to grasp complex business and technology problems and design solutions to address these; understanding of technical design of digital capabilities across the layers of the technology stack
- Analytical skills to derive insight from large amounts of imperfect data and information
The base location for this role is London. This role will have hybrid working arrangements with 3 days a week in the office.
