Shared Service Centre
This full-time post is available on a fixed-term basis for 12 months.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.

Summary of the role
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a complex change programme that will transform the way Professional Services delivers core service to its staff. The SSC Programme, sponsored by the University’s Registrar, will create a new Shared Service Centre delivering user-focused innovative service, that uses data and new technology alongside highly skilled staff with a strong understanding of user experience and journeys to underpin continual improvement.
As a Business Analyst you will be at the heart of improving the processes and services of our colleagues through leading the design, implementation and embedding of change to deliver our vision. Business Analysts will work across a wide range of workstreams and projects, making a significant contribution in the assessment, identification of opportunities, and implementation of solutions that bring highly effective business processes and service provision.
We highly value the skills of Business Analysts to leave no stone unturned, getting to the root of problems to identify pain points and improvements, and support the implementation of the best possible solutions. To achieve this successfully, you will be expected to develop and nurture close working relationships with other teams and key stakeholders across the business. You should be skilled in Business Analysis techniques such as requirements/user story definition and management, stakeholder management, business process mapping and improvement, Lean techniques, analytical tools, business change, and facilitation.
You will be highly collaborative, supporting those who own processes and services to drive the improvements and working with customers and users of services to understand their needs, We would particularly like to hear from Business Analysts with experience in service-centered organisations.
