The role:
Reporting to the SVP Services, this is a fantastic opportunity to solve real-world problems at scale. You’ll be responsible for eliciting and understanding customer requirements in a highly detailed manner, assisting client and project managers across successful business requirements identification, translation to technical tickets/implementations and facilitating strong communications at all project stages. We are looking for someone who is passionate about business analysis and ready to take the next step up in their development in a growing, luxury hospitality Product and Services business.
You will be a key part of our Services team, helping our customers to understand their challenges and ambitions as well as enabling them to envisage what the future could look like for them. Your role will require you to work directly with our customers to help them solve their complex business, commercial, technical and customer experience challenges. From the early shaping of opportunities in our pre-sales phase to detailed requirements gathering and use case creation, you will be part of a team delivering excellence to our customers. You will be expected to drive our new offerings and achieve great results, both in terms of commercial performance and customer satisfaction.
As an Alliants Business Analyst, you will be engaged in a variety of work: From providing written content to proposals, facilitating workshops to elicit and document customer problem statements, considering the business and customer experience impacts of technology decisions. You will be highly proficient in the analysis of business issues and the use of creative thinking techniques to generate effective solutions. Your experience in managing relationships with and between key stakeholders, including those operating at the most senior level of our customers organisations, is key
Some key area’s you’ll be working on:
- Organise scoping and business priority setting for strategic business initiatives involving key stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Scoping our customer problem statements and supporting them in ideating their ambition and articulating a ‘north star’ vision.
- Gathering business and system requirements from customers using the most appropriate techniques to ensure the business needs are clearly understood and formal acceptance is received from our customers.
- Translating and transferring business knowledge to our architecture and technical teams.
- Creating Use Cases and User Stories to further develop requirements and ensure end-to-end vision and outcomes are clear and achievable.
- Assist PM on project scope, estimation, planning and risk and issue management
- Assist PM on requirement sign-off process and project change requests.
- Act as the bridge between customer and our internal technical teams (onshore and offshore) to clarify requirements in both business and system analysis view, and facilitate communication among internal team members.
- Communication with vendors and third-party service providers.
- Understanding any interdependencies with other tech platforms for the changes you are driving.
- Prepare and communicate end-user documentation and training to support the project acceptance where required.
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to help shape the processes and systems that will allow Alliants and our customers to achieve our goals.

- Ability to interact with customers at all levels and excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to chair, structure, facilitate and lead meetings and workshops to achieve objectives.
- Must have good written and spoken English and ability to translate complex business challenges into simple choice points and solutions to move forwards.
- Expert in communicating compelling value propositions and business cases that influence and persuade partners and clients.
- Strong relationship building skills to grow relationships from ‘vendor’ to ‘trusted advisor’ and ‘critical friend’ with our key partners and clients.
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience working within or consulting to hospitality sector businesses
- Ability to influence both internally and externally, whilst staying true to yourself and Alliants All-In principles.
- You are proficient in the resolution of issues encouraging innovation, creativity and pragmatic approaches.
