The Digital Planning team within Parliament is seeking to recruit a Business Analyst who will play a key role in understanding business problems and delivering feasibility analysis to inform strategic decision making. You ll be part of an excellent multidisciplinary team working across a wide range of Parliamentary business capabilities to provide cross functional analysis, identifying and managing requirements and facilitating stakeholders to embed new ways of working. As a Business Analyst you will use your skills to understand business problems, improve processes and identify viable technical solutions to drive successful change assess the business readiness to undertake digital transformation, working with stakeholders to understand the holistic dependencies such as the people, data and process information required to support technology bring innovation, creativity and problem solving to all aspects of their work undertake cross functional business analysis to elicit business requirements and end-user needs within areas of service transformation What You Need To be successful in this role you will have: business analysis skills in Agile working, Business improvement process, Requirements definition and management, User focus experience of applying business analysis to investigate, articulate and improve business solutions ability to capture and refine processes and data, applying creative thinking to redesign a process to be more efficient and effective, presenting proposals in a concise manner excellent oral communication skills along with good planning and organisational skills the ability to pass security clearance, backed by the right to work in the UK About The Team The Digital Planning Team is a new strategic function which supports all of Parliament in ensuring it has the necessary enablers to achieve its strategic objectives. It works to align digital planning, the vision, and strategies for each House to develop a fully coordinated and agreed roadmap. The Key services it offers are: * Demand Management: Identification, clarification, and consolidation of business problems to articulate the complete digital demand * Feasibility Analysis: Carry out early feasibility studies to understand the business problem, identify what people, technology and process changes are required and developing options for strategic decision making * Scenario Analysis and Planning: Provide analysis to offer up digital roadmap scenarios and options for delivering digital demand.
