Job description
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on benefits realisation to join Kent County Council on a one-year contract.
You will play a pivotal role in identifying, tracking and monitoring the benefits of projects within the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Transformation Programme. This programme is of critical importance, both in terms of achieving the right outcomes for children and young people with SEND and the improvement requirements set out by the Department for Education. You will be working within the Management Information and Intelligence service and alongside the Transformation Programme team, Finance and Analytics to track and evidence the benefits, provide assurance reporting and develop processes to support and govern benefits realisation.
This programme has been operational since September 2022, and there are numerous projects within various stages of delivery. As KCC’s Business Analyst, you will oversee approximately multiple projects both internally and from KCC’s partners in Health and Education. You will use your judgement and expertise to shape and define this process.
We are looking for someone to start immediately to help progress our response to the Department for Education and to improve outcomes. If you're passionate about making a difference and have experience in local government authorities or working within SEND, we want to hear from you. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity to make a positive change in the lives of children and young people, to test and develop your skills and work alongside a dynamic and forward-thinking group of staff who care passionately about those they work with. Apply now and become part of the change.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
Interviews will take place on Wednesday 14th June.
