Salary: £37,272 - £46,589 + 25 days hols + 8 bank holidays + employer pension contributions up to 10% of salary

We are now looking for a Business Analyst to join us on this journey, and the key accountabilities associated with this role are as follows:
Key responsibilities:
- Takes full responsibility for business analysis within a significant segment of an organisation where the advice given, and decisions made will have a measurable impact on the efficiency of effectiveness of the organisation.
- Plans and leads scoping, requirements definition and priority setting for complex, strategic programmes.
- Facilitate business change within the organisation, drive business requirements analysis to produce requirements specifications to a level capable of being used to enable implementable change and/or I.T. solutions.
- Guides senior management towards accepting change brought about through process and organisational change.
- Probe and develop a deep understanding of business processes and business operating models.
- Identify opportunities to create an environment for delivering effective sustainable change.
- Obtain customer sign-off of change and I.T. related requirements.
- Develop and display commercial awareness.
- Liaise with various stakeholders to develop implementation plans, including business process change, organisational change, system, and behavioural change.
- Leads the selection of appropriate business analysis methods, tools, techniques, selecting appropriately from plan driven/predictive approaches or more adaptive (iterative and agile) approaches.
- Develops organisational policies, standards, and guidelines for requirements definition and management.
- Use various industry recognised tools and techniques for eliciting the actual business needs.
- Collect data and information from various sources and resolve conflicts by facilitating discussions between various stakeholders, including management teams.
- Ensure that I.t. delivers best value services and solutions.
- Drive innovation across the business.
- Regularly communicate with key business stakeholders to demonstrate the value of Y.W. I.T.
- Drive the vision of I.T. services to meet the company vision, values, and objectives through a rounded understanding of business operations (including the regulatory environment) and strong working relationships with our stakeholders.
- Contribute to I.T. contingency and security planning aligned with the business continuity plans.
- Maintain strong and effective relationship with external partners, providing influence and guidance on future strategic roadmaps and ensuring value for money.
- Demonstrate role model professional behaviour and corporate values, consistently improving the value of technical solutions within the business with all interactions.
- Ensure business buy-in and commitment through appropriate governance and sign-off of requirements.
- Agree specifications for service level agreements as appropriate.
- Provision of post implementation assistance to ensure benefits realisation and sustainability.
- Establish and maintain skills, knowledge, and standards of the team to ensure the Y.W. B.A. Centre of Excellence is held I appropriate high regard internally and externally.
- Lead the B.A. Community of Practice.

Desirable:
- Familiarity with ARIS Business Process Management tools.
- Previous experience gained within the water or wastewater sectors of within the broader utilities, process, or manufacturing industry sectors.
- A sound mathematical aptitude would be advantageous.
- Professional qualifications in Business Analysis (e.g., B.A. International Diploma, Lean Six Sigma accreditation).
