Business Analyst
£45,900.12 per annum
Hybrid role, Wythenshawe, Manchester & Home Based
Fixed Term Contract – 12 Months ¦ Full Time 35 hours per week

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our forward thinking and dynamic ICT function, working on business processes. This team have delivered a huge swathe of projects over the past two years and continue to do so, this role will be assisting with this ambitious program.
We can offer a variety of exciting opportunities in a role that will allow you to get involved in a whole range of projects, covering the entire business.
We'd like you to capture, validate and document business and system requirements, ensuring they are in line with strategic principles.

Being focused on compliance and governance whilst maintaining a low-risk appetite is essential to performing successfully not only in your role but our business. You will need to ensure that the development of solution proposals and option papers are fully approved. This will allow the decisions that are made to be the most effective and in-line with our strategic objectives. The same approach also stands when you are looking at development and approval for any estimates for implementation.
What will you bring to the role?
Ultimately, we are looking for proven Business Analysts who can demonstrate capability in the standard BA skills, methods, and techniques.
We would expect you to work with the business as a whole to assist in informing objectives, requirements and strategic goals, conduct feasibility studies and produce business process models whilst implementing solutions across the group.
Building and maintaining strong working relationships will come naturally to you and you should be able to evidence your ability to operate at all levels across the business, with customers and 3rd parties. Equally, you will have strong negotiation and influencing skills and won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo when needed.
Key skills and experience required:
You will need to hold either a BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (or certificates in the relevant modules already to be able to demonstrate working towards this) OR hold an IIBA certification such as ECBA/ECBA+/CCBA
- Customer journey and process mapping
- Ability to plan and facilitate workshops
- Experience of end-to-end business change projects
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage conflicting demands
- Self-motivated but able to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrable programme and project management skills ideally using a recognised methodology
- Experience of communicating with and working alongside all levels of seniority in all areas of the business
- Excellent people skills with a talent for influencing through a variety of styles and methods whilst maintaining goodwill and co-operation to provide outstanding customer service
