Full Time Irthlingborough, England 30668 - 52089 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

Whitworths are the UK’s leader in dried fruits, nuts and seeds and we have the ambition to become the UK’s best loved healthier, tastier food brand. To achieve our ambition, we recognise the importance of the data that we have and the need to use this to best effect and to this end, we are currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join our IT / IS Department.

This role will focus on creating new, developing existing and maintaining business processes and management information, using our ERP system and Qlik Sense Reporting software to meet our ongoing business needs.

As our Business Analyst, you will work closely with Functional Directors and key IFS users, (our ERP system) to

  • Understand our business processes and creating documentation to support these
  • Create documentation that supports recommendations for new applications and then create these new applications.
  • Train and support the user base to enable self service
  • Support business process owners in maintenance and improvements of business process; management information and reporting tools

To do this, we anticipate that our ideal candidate would have an understanding of ERP systems and will have worked extensively with a database reporting tool. If you have worked with the two we use, that would be ideal, but not essential. Likewise, if you have the ability to programme using SQL that is another nice to have. The core we need though is demonstratable experience in a business analyst role, proven track record in developing reporting tools, and a good working knowledge of process change.

To be successful, we believe you will be a methodical and analytical thinker, excellent attention to detail and extremely well organised. You will be a good communicator, with excellent influencing skills and able to work with people at all levels within an organisation.

If this sounds like you; you are looking for a challenge; to make a difference and want a job you will love and a company you are proud to say you work for, then apply now. You will receive a competitive salary and a benefit package to match.

Please note, Whitworths is committed to eradicating modern slavery from its business and within our supply chain. Our modern slavery statement is available on our web site. If you have any concerns, you can contact the following organisations: The Salvation Army Human Trafficking Helpline - (0300 303 8151) and the Modern Slavery Helpline (08000 121 700).
