The key responsibilities involve working across these core services:
- Project Scope & Goal Refinement – Refining the scope and goals of a project in order to develop a shared understanding across all stakeholders both technical and non-technical.
- Requirements Definition – You will elicit, analyse, validate and document requirements for business and IT change initiatives in a wide variety of different project streams.
- Solution Verification - Evaluate the proposed solution to assess the degree of fit in which it satisfies the business needs.
- Business Acceptance Testing Support - Support business users in the testing of business and IT changes to ensure acceptability.
- Business Change Deployment - Support the deployment of business and IT changes to ensure a smooth transition.
The key skills and experience required are:
- You will need to have extensive experience in all stages of the varied workload of Business Analysis; from project scope and goal refinement all the way through to business deployment and review.
- You will be an expert communicator, being able to work at all levels of the business and know what to ask to find out the necessary information from different departments.
- The ability to understand complex business problems is a crucial element to this role; having come from a background of complex and multiple project streams would be advantageous.
- Experience of working in financial services or a similarly highly regulated industry would be advantageous.
