Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing our organisation's business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing effective solutions. You will collaborate closely with our management team to gather requirements, define project scopes, and translate business needs into technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of business operations.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with the management team to identify and document business requirements, objectives, and goals.
2. Conduct thorough analysis of current business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
3. Translate business requirements into clear and concise technical specifications, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative solutions that address identified business challenges.
5. Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to evaluate proposed solutions and present recommendations to management.
6. Perform data analysis and produce insightful reports and presentations to support decision-making processes.
7. Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support during system implementations, ensuring successful adoption and functionality.
8. Continuously monitor and evaluate implemented solutions, seeking feedback from end-users and stakeholders, and making necessary improvements.
9. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to enhance business analysis methodologies within the organisation.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) are a plus.
2. Proven experience working as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, preferably within the IT sector.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to translate complex information into actionable insights and recommendations.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
5. Solid understanding of business processes and operations, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation.
6. Proficiency in business analysis techniques and tools, such as requirements gathering, process mapping, data modelling, and use case development.
7. Advanced proficiency in using industry-standard software, including but not limited to MS Office Suite, data analysis tools, and project management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
