- Establish end-to-end mapping of business processes and functional flows.
- Define, maintain, and mature enterprise engineering charter, framework, and governance. Assist in development of year long roadmap for responsible technologies.
- Provide advice, counsel and education to functional partners of the competitive or financial impact.
- Assist Solution Lead and Portfolio Managers in providing influential counsel to executives and functional leaders.
- Manage Contract/Vendor/Asset Management & Business Relationship Management which includes the following: Maintenance contract renewals / contract management, Budget Forecasting & Management, Licensing rationalization & Management (counts, audits to reclaim, procurement).
- Educate business where needed on proper support model processes.
- Primary point of contact between IT and Business for responsible business functions.
- Communicate IT strategy and partner with business to set realistic expectations.
- Partners with IT and business function to evaluate solutions and perform vendor analysis based on solution needs/requirement.
- Manage internal and external group of engineers to deliver on project work ensuring smooth transition from design to build by deployment / provisioning resources.
- Provide detail level technical task required for the plan with resource estimates and timelines to leadership and executives.
- Understands and complies with all established corporate, IT and engineering standards, policies and procedures. Contributes to, prepares, and reviews changes to standards, policies and procedures. Contributes to changes to IT policies and procedures and those of supported business units.
- Lead and guide the operational support teams, both internal to the team and support provided by other groups, including drafting work instruction documentation and providing review and approval of operational actions. Own delivery of support to business partners, regardless of model of support used.
- Manage resource allocation across projects, enhancements, break/fix and administrative support.
- Accountable for the budget, performance and results of assigned work.
- Facilitate organizational change management efforts in areas of responsibility.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required. Master’s degree preferred.
- Specialization in Business, Technology or Engineering, however, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
- Minimum 5 years of IT Business Analysis experience required.
- Minimum 3 years of Workday experience required.
- Ability to manage multiple, concurrent initiatives.
- Ability to engage and consult with senior business executives.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred).
- Experience as a business analyst for HR.
- Experience with multiple Workday HCM modules (e.g. Talent, Performance, Absence, Recruiting, Compensation).
- Experience developing and executing test plans.
- This role may have remote flexibility. The preference is for the role to be based in Canonsburg, PA or from a location on the East Coast of the US.
