About the Team:The Sr. Business Data Analyst will join the Data Strategy & Operations team to unify cross-functional processes, data and systems to scale an exceptional customer and employee experience. The Sr. Business Analyst will engage cross-functionally with experts in Marketing, Sales, Professional Services, Support, Cloud Operations, Customer Success, Product, Finance and IT to build positive and productive relationships.

- Plan milestones, activities, status updates and timelines of Data Strategy & Operations projects
- Provide project support, meeting notes, user stories and project updates
- Support, facilitate, and enhance DS&O Portfolio Management Processes
- Capture and socialize key takeaways (business requirements, notes, action items) from cross functional workshops with stakeholders and projects teams
- Communicate and translate requirements effectively between functional areas
- Partner closely with IT to complete requirements gathering and ensure successful hand-off
- Maintain and improve foundational data catalog including business rules and permissions required to manage critical data through the customer journey
- Partner with stakeholders across UKG to shape a data-centric culture
- Inform a holistic data strategy including data standards, roles, and a common business vocabulary
- Partner with Data Governance Lead and Domain leads to define and document the development and maintenance processes of our analytical assets (Data Catalog, User Story Repository)
- Develop analytics process documentation including a document repository, standardized templates, and governance processes for sensitive recurring analytics.
- Partner with Data Quality Lead to facilitate the development/enhancement of analytic assets to capture and maintain Data Quality specific intelligence.
- Prepare, present and communicate project updates with broader audience
- Engage with DS&O leaders to review pending portfolio mgmt. process changes and ensure seamless transition
- Support preparation and communication of Data Strategy Program presentations
Qualifications
About You:Basic Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in technology product and services related industry preferably in Operations or a customer data related role
- Bachelor’s Degree in business, information systems, industrial engineering or relevant field
- 3+ yrs enterprise experience
- Passion for working in a consultative and hands-on manner, to intersect user experience, data, process, analytics, technology, and business value
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changes, open-minded and curious; positive attitude
- Independently develops project plans and framework but instinctively knows when to check-in and request guidance from manager and experienced team members
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert user of Microsoft tools - particularly with Excel including VBA and macro development.
- Proficient with query languages with experience using Google Cloud Platform: BigQuery.
- Obtained Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt or higher certification.
- Experience with business process mapping with emphasis on identifying data and systems dependencies.
- Experience establishing Data Quality, Data Governance, or MDM programs.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, comfortable presenting to large audiences
- Demonstrated experience of driving programs from ideation, pilots, to full scale enterprise deployment.
