As a Business Analyst at Maples, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our services, increasing efficiency, reducing costs, and ultimately improving the quality of care we provide.
Key responsibilities:
· Analyse business processes, workflows, and data to identify areas of improvement in adult social care services
· Collaborate with stakeholders, including service users, care providers, and management teams, to gather requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs
· Develop business cases and feasibility studies to assess the viability of proposed solutions
· Create detailed functional and technical specifications for new systems or enhancements to existing systems
· Work closely with IT teams and vendors to ensure the effective implementation of new systems and solutions
· Provide training and support to end-users to ensure they can effectively use new systems and solutions
· Conduct user acceptance testing to ensure systems meet business requirements
· Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify areas for continuous improvement
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation
Location: Lodge Causeway, BS16. Please note - this will be an office based role.
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
About you:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
· Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably in the adult social care sector.
· Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders and teams.
· Experience working with IT teams and vendors to implement new systems and solutions.
· Knowledge of industry standard software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.
· Understanding of data analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI and SQL.
· Familiarity with relevant legislation and regulations in the adult social care sector.
