Our Product Owners within AA-X manage specific propositions as part of our AA-X product roadmap. You will own and deliver a specific AA-X deliverable either from design through to delivery or take on an existing deliverable (including performance management) with responsibility for translating the roadmap into a product backlog informed by customer and business needs.

You will join a talented and innovative squad to help build the future of AA-X for our customers and being a Product Owner, you will also be involved with typical Business Analyst activities.

What will I be doing?

  • Own specific backlog ensuring prioritisation aligns with overall programme prioritisation - maintains a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team
  • Take on Business Analysis tasks as required acting as link between the business objectives, core technological capabilities the team is building and the offline fulfilment channels
  • Working with UX, define customer experience and ensure all key developments are tested for usability
  • Capture and assess business/development requests and, with the help of the scrum team, produce user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Be accountable for specific KPIs and communicates regular tracking to stakeholders
  • Develop, and sign off stories for release on behalf of the business
  • Facilitate release planning with stakeholders and develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams

What do I need?

  • Strong experience as a Product Owner and/or Business Analyst with the ability and experience to conduct tasks/activities typically sat within each role
  • Offline and online B2C digital product management and development experience
  • Demonstrable experience working with varying levels of stakeholders across a cross-functional business i.e., Customer Operations, Contact Centres, IT, Data, Marketing etc.
  • Experience in business process management or service design
  • Complete understanding of working within an Agile Scrum environment driving forward own initiatives utilising a user-centric mindset
  • Experience in translating business requirements into technical user stories - comfortable using JIRA and converting business asks into user stories
