Job description
We are looking for a Business Analyst with IT change and strategy (governance) focus to help both councils achieve this objective.
The scope of the work comprises;
The establishment of an appropriate Technology governance model to support the continued shared services.
The identification of business problems resulting from the disaggregation of the two Councils
The creation of functions and solutions that need to be implemented to allay stakeholders' concerns.
The identification and implementation of governance arrangements to support the needs of both Councils.
The suitable candidate will need to demonstrate great stakeholder management and collaboration skills, as well as an ability to understand the way both Councils work, in order to help develop the governance functions, services and products that work for both parties but ultimately function as one.
The role will involve close liaison with the PMO functions across both Councils, as well as playing a key role in communicating between internal departments and external parties, acting as a 'translator' where necessary to explain how the governance model works and how it will support the Bi-borough needs.
Experience
- Ability to engage and drive IT change and strategy (governance) based on previous experience.
- Ability to visualise service journeys across large and complex delivery areas; map current and future processes, to quantify steps and pain points, and to prioritise development as well as agree product scope.
- Ability to lead investigations into governance gaps and friction, and make recommendations for service improvement.
- Ability to gather, distil, and simplify for an audience large amounts of data, judging what is and isn’t important, including writing reports that quickly help someone understand the problem to be solved
- Ability to advise on the best mapping, data-gathering and investigative tools for teams

Salary: £250.00-£370.00 per day
