Your New Role
The Information Technology family defines, provides, maintains, optimises and expands the business solutions needed to support global operations, communications, data collection and management, decision making and management of customer relationships. It safeguards our business, customer and personal data.
Reporting into the Head of Digital Programmes, this role is focusing on the migration of multiple Salesforce organisations into 1 organisation, it will require the production of high quality analysis of business data, process, application or security. It uses approved methods to gather, validate and analyse data; it identifies issues, designs and tests solutions; it launches, implements and supports proactive improvements in line with overall business and IT strategy.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
· This role is focusing on the migration of multiple Salesforce organisations into 1 organisation. This project was started over 1 year ago and we are into detailed development and testing, where this role will require you to work closely with the business, developers and testers to ensure we keep in scope but deliver at pace
· Identify, analyse and document business or function reporting and analytics requirements, validating with original users to eliminate confusion or contradiction; recommend appropriate functional performance indicators and metrics, and create the daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting dashboards needed to drive performance
· Provide technical support for reporting tools and dashboards
· Use data from a wide range of sources to carry out process diagnostics, identifying themes and root cause and make recommendations for action and improvement
· Contribute to projects to drive automation and streamlining of business process and reporting; produce ad hoc analyses and reports as needed, ensuring data integrity throughout the reporting cycle. Maintain a library of model documents, templates or other reusable knowledge assets. Provide support, advice and guidance to colleagues to increase data confidence and drive a self-serve approach
· Contribute to and support feasibility studies and business case preparation. Formulate measures to track business impact and benefit delivery, ensuring achievement of business case benefit is reported effectively
· Develop existing processes and applications; contribute to development of improvements; support testing of new or improved system functionality, business process or applications; develop robust data models using internal and external data sources. Drive continuous improvement in analytics, reporting and modelling activity
· Interpret business problems, identify root cause and make appropriate solution or improvement recommendations
· Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and back up files to ensure instant recovery of systems and data if problems occur
· Prepare presentations and reports as needed, using or creating standard templates as needed
· Support a culture of innovation by contributing to solutions that boost creativity, innovation and collaboration, ensuring the needs of internal and external customers are represented

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria
· 2+ Years as a Business Analyst
· Educated to Degree level
· Strong and demonstratable Salesforce experience (questions on this topic will feature strongly in the interviews)
· Confident using data
· Comfortable communicating within a large global organisation
